El Monte City School District - Durfee Elementary School
El Monte City School District - Durfee Elementary School
In response to a growing student population and the need for expanded facilities, the city embarked on a comprehensive project to revitalize its K-6 campus. With outdated buildings no longer meeting the demands of modern education and an increasing number of students, the city recognized the importance of upgrading its infrastructure to accommodate future growth. Through thoughtful planning and collaboration between the WestbergWhite team and the District, the project aimed to not only replace existing structures but also create a dynamic and inviting environment conducive to learning. The new expanded Administration, Library, and Multipurpose Auditorium/Cafeteria, along with additional buildings, symbolize the city's commitment to providing quality education for its students. With careful attention to detail and a focus on enhancing both functionality and aesthetics, the project successfully transformed the campus, setting the stage for continued academic excellence and community engagement.
