WestbergWhite Architecture was commissioned by the North Orange County Community College District to undertake the comprehensive renovation and seismic retrofitting of Fullerton College's Building 300, a historic two-story classroom structure dating back to 1937. Given the building's age and the necessity for extensive upgrades, our team embarked on a meticulous process of structural analysis and retrofitting, ensuring compliance with modern safety standards while preserving its architectural integrity. This project demanded close coordination between structural and architectural teams to execute intricate detailing seamlessly. As the heart of Fullerton College's educational infrastructure, the revitalization of Building 300 not only enhances safety but also preserves its historic legacy for future generations of students and faculty.
