Boys and Girls Club Gymnasium

Golden West College and The City of Huntington Beach

PROJECT DETAILS

The Golden West Community College campus took a significant step forward with the development of a new gymnasium facility, designed to serve both the college community and the neighboring Boys and Girls Club. Recognizing the importance of creating a multifunctional space that would benefit students and local youth alike, the college sought an architectural solution that emphasized versatility and community engagement. The WestbergWhite Architecture team worked closely with college administrators to align the design with their vision, resulting in a facility that includes a regulation basketball court, complemented by both interior and exterior restrooms for easy access during events. This gymnasium is more than just a sports venue; it’s a central hub that enhances the college’s athletic program while also providing valuable resources to the surrounding community, embodying a spirit of collaboration and shared purpose.
