Project Summary
The Mark Twain Elementary School campus was faced with physically deteriorating buildings, a site overloaded with portable classroom buildings and changes in the educational program that significantly rendered these classrooms ineffective. To meet these challenges, portable buildings were removed and replaced with two state-of-the-art classroom buildings. The new buildings incorporate interior-loaded teaching stations with added science and art labs. Each pair of classrooms share a common support space designed for computer carrels and conferences.
