Having already completed a facility master plan for the San Diego Cooperative Charter School, Westberg White Architecture has now put that plan firmly into motion with the completion of a new, $28 million classroom building, library, and media center.
This existing middle school campus project resolves the numerous problems at San Diego Cooperative Charter School. The master plan presents the construction of new facilities that will better meet the needs of a middle school, accommodate growth, provide better security, and provide a better learning environment that will meet 21st-century education goals. In addition to the newly completed building, the overall master plan also provides for:
- A new kindergarten building
- A new multi-purpose building with art, drama and dance
- A new lunch shelter
- A new administration building
- A new playground configuration
- Resolved traffic congestion
The new building will create an immediate impact while also providing for future growth, as each new phase of the project will rise to meet the school’s need to create a more modern learning environment.
