The existing Millennial Tech Middle School (MTM) campus has numerous portable classroom buildings that needed to be removed from the site to enhance the aesthetic educational learning environment. The design of MTM’s new 38,200 s.f. 3-story classroom building consists of 12 general education classrooms that are designed for a 21st-century learning space with state-of-the-technology and flexibility. This building also has six science-learning spaces, a broadcast journalism studio and a student locker and restroom facility. On each floor, educators have a collaboration room for exchange of ideas and planning for student curriculum.
Our design aesthetic reflects and supports the awareness of this technology-rich learning environment while encouraging students to think beyond the limits of the classroom.
